Department of Livestock
The Department of Livestock aims to cultivate livestock industry leaders by selecting a major suitable for the student's aptitude after acquiring common knowledge for each major through undergraduate education of livestock major students. In the first semester of the first grade, knowledge will be cultivated through common education in the Korean beef, dairy, pig, poultry, and horse industries, and from the second semester, specialized education will be conducted for each major by selecting a major suitable for students.
The Korean beef major will train Korean beef experts who can lead the Korean beef industry from production to distribution and consumption due to changes in the Korean beef industry, with the specialization of the Korean beef industry in the form of a side job.
Dairy majors aim to foster dairy industry leaders by educating professional knowledge and systematic specifications management methods on nutrition, improvement, breeding, disease and management of dairy cows.
The major of pig farming aims to cultivate professional livestock managers through basic education such as breeding, breeding, and nutrition of pig farming, and various education and practices ranging from processing, distribution, and management.
Poultry major aims to cultivate poultry management leaders through basic education, processing, distribution and management, including breeding, nutrition, specifications, and diseases across meat, spawning, species, and meat ducks.
The horse industry major provides theoretical and practical education to foster professionals necessary for the horse industry to create a foundation for the development of the horse industry and contribute to revitalizing the economy of rural areas and improving the quality of life for the people.
